My and My Guitar

I guess now it's just me
and my guitar,
floating in the shadows,
our lives trickling by,
we've lived,
we've loved, 
we've laughed,
we've shared,
we've cares,
we rose,
we dove,
and here we are now,
becoming only a shadow of yesterday,
and now I see,
tomorrow will bring a new tower,
to cast a shadow on today,
and I'll be here,
still living,
loving,
laughing,
sharing,
caring,

rising,
and dying,
and if you find yourself,
in the shadows cast,
and longing for the ride,
I'll be here,
living in today,
never cold,
from the shadows of yesterday,
or worried about,
the towers of tomorrow,
'cause I know this one day,
is all I got,
and with or without you,
I will triumph,
living,
laughing,
sharing,
caring,
rising,
and dying.
just the same,
even if it's just
me and my guitar.
